Our School is the only one opened during winter!IN AFG
Winter is particularly cold this year in Kunduz! Fortunately, we were able to buy warm clothes for all of our 140 students before the snow and subzero temperatures arrived! Thanks to your donations and also those of Afghans in the diaspora mobilized by our great partner Zabi Majidi.
Despite the wood stoves in each of the 4 open classes, children and teachers keep their warm outdoor clothes in class.
All other schools, public or private, cannot finance the wood to heat classrooms. This is why ours is the only one open and the children are happy to continue to educate themselves, to perfect their knowledge in Mathematics, English, Computing and Religion.
Because the end-of-year exams have been postponed to March, due to the long period of closure during the pandemic.
The timetable is the following: Breakfast from 8 – 8.30 am every morning from Saturday to Thursday before the 4 lessons of the morning finishing at 11.10 am.
