Our school adopted this little disabled boy found in the bazarIN AFG
In June 2020, my partner Zabi Majidi found this boy abandoned in the bazar. He cannot speak nor walk. We gave him shelter and care in our school. In the evening, our house employee takes him to her home close by and in the morning she takes him back to our school where he passes his day.
The name we gave him is Abdullah Massod, he is 9 or 10 years old.
On April 5th, we organized a big birthday party for him.
Among our pupils, 6 children are disabled. As of next week, we will open a special class in the courtyard for them and 25- 30 other disabled. They will be collected in the whole city of Kunduz and taken to our school. A foreign NGO is financing this project, including a teacher for this class. The class will take place under the shelter you see on this picture which we built recently in our courtyard.
And here another good news from our school:
The ONG SAVE THE CHILDREN started again the 2 classes for 70 street children in our courtyard in the afternoon. They pay for the 2 teachers. These classes were stopped since last summer, due to the Covid. The children never attended school before and get basic education.
